Excellent animals and a super average price!

Special times require special measures and in the context of MASTERRIND EXCLUSIVE – DIE AUKTION this once again meant the realization of an online auction. Whether online or live auction the quality of animals as well as the motivation of the team was the same. In total of 45 strictly selected animals – from highly genomic calves to excellent calved heifers and conformation crackers – were groomed and prepared.

When the last hair was fitted and the final shine given, the animal presentation began. Like a fashion show one sales animal after the next was individually presented to the online audience, in a live presentation on Tuesday by our two specialists from the breeding department Torben Melbaum and Stefan Kallaß. With start of the livestream, the first bids could already be made and now it was time to stay on until the official auction ends on Wednesday .

Auction results

Wednesday evening, one day after the livestream and the start of the auction, bidders had to be alert. The top animals were now auctioned in a 3-minute cycle.

The Simon P-daughter RHO Banana by Hans-Jürgen & Karin Regus GbR, Dachsbach, achieved the top price of the evening. She was sold for € 19,500 and will be housed in a barn in the Netherlands in future.

An other absolute top price gained the Weser-Milch Lünschen KG, Loxstedt. Calf Alison (S. Best Benz) was bought for € 15,400 and will go to North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Kastens Holsteins GbR, Stuhr, also achieved a very good price of € 9,400 for their Mirand-PP calf GHH Anna. She will start her journey to Northern Ireland.

The red Altattop-Red calf RZH Panacotta from Marco Hellwig will leave for Russia. It was bought for € 8,400 by a Russian bidder.

Furthermore, Franz Meyer, Friesoythe, and Jürgen Hintze, Trebel, achieved super prices for their calves:  € 10.000 for  Bambi (S. Speedy Red) and  € 14.500 for WEH Leoni (S. Copyright). While Bambi will move to the Netherlands, WEH Leoni will stay in Germany.

Not less interesting than the calves were the very high priced fresh heifers. CCC Undenied Sometimes (S. Undenied) from the Canadian Cattle Club, Struxdorf, was the absolute top seller among the calved heifers. After 32 bids she was finally bought by a Bavarian bidder for € 12,400.

As with the first online auction in Lingen last autumn 2020, bidders were widespread. With a total of 1,250 registered bidders for the MASTERRIND auction tool – an unprecedented number was reached. In addition to German buyers, many bids and purchases came from almost all of Europe.

All offered sales animals found a new owner. With a very good average price of nearly € 6,200, there was something for every bidder. Also for the future MASTERRIND is pleased to be able to offer an attractive range of exclusive animals to customers near and far and to provide this appealing sales platform to the many enthusiastic breeders.

More information on the animals, the pedigrees and our livestream you can still find a moment on our auction page.
